South by Southwest-Austin, TX

Bonnaroo-Manchester, TN

Dates: June 10–13

What is it?  The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an annual, four to five-day music festival, first held in 2002. The main attractions of the festival are the multiple stages of live music, featuring a diverse array of musical styles including indie rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, electronica, and other alternative music. The festival began with a primary focus on jam bands, but has diversified greatly in recent years.

Camp Bisco-Albany, NY

Dates: July 15-17

What is it?  Camp Bisco is an outdoor music festival held at the beautiful Indian Lookout Country Club, a world-class property located near Albany, NY.  Camp Bisco is a 3 day rain-or-shine event with camping.  Attendees may arrive beginning at 8am on Thursday morning July 15th.  Camp Bisco 9 will feature 3 days and nights of music on 3 stages, including a late afternoon DJ TENT and a late night DANCE TENT featuring top international Dance acts!  This event is not to be missed!   Check it out at Indian Lookout Country club for an experience you won't forget!

Pitchfork Music Festival-Chicago, IL

What is it?  The Pitchfork Music Festival is an annual summer music festival organized by Pitchfork Media held in Union Park, Chicago

Grassroots-Trumansburg, NY

Dates: July 22-25

What is it?  The festival is presented over a four day period (Thursday-Sunday) on four stages which run ridiculously long hours to accommodate the 60 some bands that play the festival. The band selection reflects the eclectic tastes of our 'amorphous committee', a difficult to nail down group of musicians and artists who lean toward roots related & world music.  GrassRoots doesn't hesitate to bring you great music you've never heard of before. Every year wonderful new bands are discovered and presented along with many old and true friends. Check out the list of previous years artists for a general idea of what's in store for the future!

Lollapalooza-Chacago, IL

Dates: August 6-8

What is it?  Lollapalooza is an annual music festival featuring alternative rock, hip hop, and punk rock bands, dance and comedy performances, and craft booths. It was original conceived and created in 1991 by Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band.

Bands: Lady Gaga, Green Day and Soundgarden are headlining…more acts to be announced in April.

All Tomorrows Parties-Monticello, NY

Dates: September 3-5

What is it?  The festival has its origins in the Bowlie Weekender, curated by Belle & Sebastian at Camber Sands in April 1999. Artists, usually musicians (but sometimes visual artists like Matt Groening or Jake and Dinos Chapman) are asked to curate the festival by inviting their favourite performers to play. The idea is that it is akin to dipping into the curator's record collection, or as Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth described it, "It's the ultimate mix tape".

Lilith Fair-Multiple City Tour

Dates: July 2-August 10

What is it?  Lilith Fair is a concert tour and traveling music festival, founded by Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, Nettwerk Music Group's Dan Fraser and Terry McBride, and New York talent agent Marty Diamond, which took place during the summers of 1997 to 1999 and now 2010!!. Lilith Fair consists solely of female solo artists and female-led bands. In its last 3 years, Lilith Fair raised over $10M for women's charities throughout North America, helping to pave the way for female musicians the world over.
