I have a M.A. in Broadcast Management; I love drinking/brewing beer and of course, long walks on the beach. I feel like I'm answering a personal ad…
If you were stranded on a desert island what 2 things would you take with you? Hmmm…probably a boat and a case of India Pale Ale.
What are your favorite artists?
Well, anything that we play on the Vine is definitely up there. As far as some other artists that I could never live without: Sonic Youth, Animal Collective, Deerhunter, AxCx, Hieroglyphics, Souls of Mischief, Gwar, Between the Buried and Me, Binary Star, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, The Black Dahlia Murder, Del, Dinosaur Jr., Napalm Death, Hieruspecs, Kool Keith and the list goes on and on...
Music people would be surprised you love?
Norwegian Black Metal and most all Death Metal Bands.
What is your favorite thing about Ithaca?
Oh man…there is too much to even list! I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be the sheer number of Vineyards surrounding us. The people here are really great as well. Everyone is so down to earth and nice around here. The Beverage Center is pretty magical as well.
What is the worst job you have ever had?
One summer I had to clean bathrooms twice a day at a Michigan State Park. Oh the things I've seen….
TV shows you can’t miss?
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Dexter and Arrested Development when it was on.
What are your favorite movies?
The Toxic Avenger, Kids, Gummo, The Holy Mountain, Meet the Feebles, Party Monster and pretty much any old cult classic or Troma film.
What was your first concert?
Rage Against the Machine and At The Drive-In sometime around 1997-98.
What is your secret talent?
Haha…I can freestyle rap. Seriously.
What are your favorite books?
Menus.
Most embarrassing moment?
No joke…I was riding my skateboard down a hill on the campus of my old college when a squirrel ran in front of me causing me to hit it (yes, hit it) and fall. The only witnesses? An entire sorority of girls. FML
Best advice you have ever gotten?
Do the work first! This bit of advice got me two degrees and no girlfriend.
