We are nominating Kathleen Halton, long-time beloved kindergarten teacher at Fall Creek School for the APPLE FOR THE TEACHER award.
Kathleen’s steadfast love and commitment to her students and their families is present in everything she does. She consistently teaches peace-keeping, generosity, compassion, kindness and the importance of being a positive contribution to not only the classroom, but the larger community. As an amazing teacher of skills, she leaves her students feeling smarter and more self-assured every day. Kathleen reminds us what education can be: the exploration of ideas, the growth of self, the love of learning, the joy of the work and play of young children.
